I cannot connect to my server, how can i reboot it?

Question:
I cannot connect to my server, how can i reboot it?

Answer:
If you lose access to your server via VNC, Remote Desktop, SSH, Teamviewer or it is not responding to ping we recommend first restarting it to regain connectivity.
You may reboot your HostMyApple macOS VPS at any time from our customer portal (www.hostmyapple.com/whmcs)
and navigating to Services-> Click Your Server-> Reboot Server
NOTE: If you have just performed an update to macOS it is normal to temporarily lose connectivity while core OS components are being updated.
Please allow up to 45 minutes for the update to complete before you attempt to restart it in order to prevent interrupting the update.
If you still have not regained connectivity after your update or restart has completed feel free to open a ticket with support and one of our
technical consultants will be able to assist.
